• Select from hundreds of high quality online courses offered each term
• Learn with faculty experienced in online instruction
• Meet other new students and prepare for success in the online orientation workshop
• Access important news and information, and links to your college email, and to the online course rooms, library, and bookstore at your personal one-stop online convenience center called a Portal.
• Use your Portal to access web services and manage your course registrations, and view your financial aid, payments, and grades
• Receive help on-demand
• Access friendly live-time help on weekdays from 7am to 9 pm and weekends from 10am to 3:30pm

Vision, Services, and System Improvement

The Distance Minnesota Board works on behalf of members to set the regionally shared vision that shapes the Distance Minnesota experience. The Regional Academic Leadership (deans) , and faculty and staff representatives serving on the Online Learning and Seamless Services Team , and the Marketing and Outreach Team bring it to life. The Higher Learning Commission accredits member colleges, and Minnesota Online accredits their online degrees.
