Credit Transfer Evaluation Guidelines

• The sending institution must be regionally accredited at the higher education level.
• The coursework to be transferred must be comparable in nature, content, and level to courses offered in the declared program major.

If you wish to transfer credits earned from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution, follow the procedures below:

1. Apply for admission.
2. Request that official transcripts be sent from every institution attended to the address listed above.
3. Once all official transcripts have been received and you are fully admitted to your program major, a transfer specialist and your program advisor will review your transcripts. If further information is needed regarding the courses at your previous schools (e.g., course descriptions, course syllabus), you will be contacted.
4. When a final decision has been made regarding the credits being accepted, you will be notified by the college and the credits will be recorded in your official student record. You should be notified of the results in approximately ten days from the time you are officially admitted to your program major.
