Outpatient Coding

This course is an introduction to medical coding and emphasizes coding in a medical office and other outpatient care facilities. Course topics include ICD-9 and ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS Level II coding, and legal and ethical issues related to outpatient coding practices. Prerequisites: BIOL1004 and HLTH1106
